Step 1: Open the App and Go to Your Profile
First, open the Xiaohongshu app. In the bottom-right corner, tap the "Me" icon to access your profile page.
Step 2: Edit Your Profile
Once on your profile page, look for the "Edit Profile" button and tap it. This will take you to a page where you can make changes to your profile information.
Step 3: Change Your Username
In the profile editing page, locate the "Name" field. Delete your current name and type in your desired username.
Note: You can change your nickname only once within 7 days, so choose wisely!
Step 4: Add Bio Information (Optional)
You can also customize your bio by adding links to your other social media accounts, like Instagram or Linktree. This helps your followers connect with you across platforms.
Step 5: Preview and Save Changes
Once you're satisfied with the updates, tap the "Preview" button in the top-right corner to see how your profile looks. If everything is correct, tap the "Exit" button in the top-right corner to go back to the Edit Profile page. Finally, tap "Save" to apply your changes.
